Moods Studio is a product studio and development agency based in Amsterdam, working across AI, blockchain, and Web3. We build a broad range of software, from DeFi infrastructure and tokenization platforms to AI-driven applications, SaaS products, and mobile apps. We work in a small, senior-led team. Work is owned end to end, from the first conversation about a problem through to the release that puts it in front of users. Everything we build ships to real clients on real deadlines.
This is a learning placement on the commercial side of the studio. You support the team across the full sales cycle: researching and qualifying leads, keeping the CRM accurate, preparing outreach and follow-ups, and helping assemble proposals for prospective clients. The purpose of the placement is that you learn how a B2B pipeline actually works, from the first piece of research through to a signed agreement, by working inside a real one. You are assigned a named company tutor, you agree a learning plan in your first week, and you review progress against it weekly. You work directly with the founders and see the commercial side of a software studio from the inside. You do not need a sales background or a technical one to begin.
Research and qualify leads: Identify companies that fit our services and products, find the right contacts, and build accurate prospect lists.
Keep the pipeline organised: Maintain the CRM, log every interaction, and make sure no lead or follow-up is lost.
Support outreach: Draft first-contact emails and follow-up messages, and learn how to personalise them for each prospect.
Help prepare proposals: Assist with offers, quotes, and presentation materials for prospective clients.
Sit in on calls: Join discovery and sales calls, take notes, and turn them into clear next steps.
Work with the Ambassador network: Help coordinate the leads and signups coming in from our SiteLab Ambassadors.
You are enrolled in, or have recently graduated from, a relevant programme, and the placement can be linked to your studies.
You are organised and reliable, and you keep track of detail without being chased.
You write clearly and communicate well, in writing and on a call.
You are comfortable reaching out to people you have not met.
You take feedback well and act on it.
You have professional working proficiency in English.
Some experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing role.
Familiarity with a CRM such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Attio.
Professional working proficiency in Italian or Dutch in addition to English.
A genuine interest in AI tools, which we use daily.
This placement is governed by a written internship agreement: a stageovereenkomst in the Netherlands, or a convenzione di tirocinio in Italy, signed by Moods, by you, and by your educational institution where your programme requires it. It is a learning placement. It is not an employment contract and it is not a freelance assignment. The agreement sets out the learning objectives, the supervision arrangements, the hours, and the evaluation at the end. Supervision is a named responsibility, not a general arrangement. Your company tutor at Moods is identified in the agreement before you start, so you know from day one who is accountable for your placement: the stagebegeleider under a Dutch stageovereenkomst, the tutor aziendale under an Italian convenzione di tirocinio. Where your programme appoints an academic tutor, the stagedocent or tutor didattico, the two agree the learning objectives and the assessment criteria between them at the outset, and your company tutor reports progress to your institution on whatever schedule it requires. In practice: a written learning plan agreed in your first week and revised as the placement goes on, a weekly one-to-one with your company tutor, a mid-placement review against the plan, and a written evaluation at the end. If your tutor becomes unavailable during the placement, a replacement is named and your institution is informed.
Internship allowance: EUR 600 per month internship allowance, paid under the internship agreement, for the agreed 24 hours per week.
Performance component: An additional amount for each deal you help close, paid under the same agreement and agreed with your company tutor at the start of the placement.
Duration and hours: 6 months at 24 hours per week. The days are agreed with your company tutor at the start and can be arranged around your study timetable.
Tutoring and supervision: A named company tutor at Moods (stagebegeleider or tutor aziendale), plus your institution's academic tutor (stagedocent or tutor didattico) where your programme appoints one. A written learning plan with agreed objectives, a weekly one-to-one, and a written evaluation against the plan at the end.
What you leave with: A written reference and hands-on experience of a full B2B pipeline, from first research to signature.
After the placement: Where a commercial role is open at the end of a placement, former interns are welcome to apply and are considered alongside external candidates.
Pipeline and CRM skills: You learn how a real B2B pipeline is built and managed, from first touch to signature, and how disciplined follow-up and accurate data keep it moving.
AI-assisted work: You use AI tools daily for research, drafting, and reporting, and learn where a modern commercial team gets real leverage from them.

Read our privacy policyWe aim to respond to every applicant within 5 business days of receiving the application. The process has two stages. First, a 30-minute introductory call about the placement, your studies, and what you want to get out of it. Second, a practical exercise: researching a short prospect list and drafting a first outreach email, followed by a conversation about your reasoning. The exercise is time-boxed to one hour, it is unpaid, and we send the brief and the assessment criteria in advance. If your programme requires a specific agreement, a set number of hours, or documentation from us, tell us at the first stage and we will work to it. We give a decision within 5 business days of the final stage, and we give feedback whether or not we make an offer. We never ask for salary history. Please do not include your date of birth, marital status, nationality, or a photograph in your application. We do not use them in any assessment and we would only have to delete them.
