This is Moods Studio

Moods Studio builds software at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and Web3. We are a dev agency and product studio based in Amsterdam, shipping everything from DeFi infrastructure and tokenization platforms to AI-driven applications and enterprise tools. Our clients range from institutional banks and DAOs to early-stage startups with ambitious technical roadmaps. For our team, we create an environment where ownership is real and impact is immediate. We are a small, fast-moving group that values craftsmanship over process and results over titles. Together, we build products that solve hard problems across industries where technology is reshaping the rules.

Why you should join the Moods Blockchain team

At Moods Studio, the blockchain team builds DeFi protocols, tokenization infrastructure, and on-chain products that are live on mainnet with real TVL and institutional partners. Our stack spans Ethereum, Arbitrum, and emerging L2 ecosystems, with a focus on programmable financial products and real-world asset tokenization. We are looking for a Smart Contract Intern Developer who is excited about the intersection of blockchain and AI agents. The ideal candidate understands Solidity fundamentals, is curious about Account Abstraction and emerging standards like ERC-8004 and x402, and wants to learn by shipping real contracts on real networks.

Smart Contract Intern Developer

As a Smart Contract Intern Developer, you will work alongside our blockchain engineers on active protocol development. You will write, test, and deploy smart contracts, contribute to architecture discussions, and gain hands-on experience with DeFi and RWA infrastructure in a production environment.

What you'll do

Smart contract development: Write, test, and deploy Solidity smart contracts for active client projects.

DeFi protocol work: Contribute to index products, vaults, and on-chain governance mechanisms.

AI agent infrastructure: Work with smart contract patterns for AI agents, including Account Abstraction, x402, and ERC-8004.

RWA tokenization: Support real-world asset tokenization architecture and cross-chain deployments.

Security practices: Participate in code reviews and security-focused development workflows.

Who you are

You have a working understanding of Solidity and the EVM.

You are familiar with Hardhat or Foundry development environments.

You understand basic DeFi concepts: AMMs, lending, staking, vaults.

You are interested in AI agents and their intersection with blockchain (Account Abstraction, x402, ERC-8004).

You are comfortable reading smart contract code and on-chain data.

You are eager to learn and contribute to production systems from day one.

Nice to have

Experience with RWA tokenization or real-world asset protocols.

Familiarity with Arbitrum, Optimism, or other L2 ecosystems.

Understanding of on-chain infrastructure (indexers, oracles, bridges).

Our commitment to diversity and inclusion

Our best work comes from diverse perspectives. The technical and creative challenges we face are unique, and we need as many different voices as possible to help us solve them. No matter who you are or where you come from, we welcome you to be your true self at Moods Studio. Studies show that women and members of underrepresented communities apply for jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. If that sounds like you, we encourage you to reconsider and apply. We look forward to your application.

What's next?

We aim to get back to you regarding your application within 5 business days. Our interview process is straightforward: an intro call, a short technical assessment or portfolio review (depending on the role), and a final conversation with the team. We keep things lean and respectful of your time. Apply at https://moods.build/vacancies
